Miss Max is the premiere title, not only in Omaha, but all of Nebraska and beyond. Each Miss Max has demonstrated their own unique strengths, community support, and leadership. The Miss Max Pageant is held each year on the last Sunday in January. Contestants compete in the categories of interview, creative costume, swimsuit, talent, evening gown and on-stage presentation.

MISTER MAX MI
The Mister Max MI Contest was previously held each year in June. Drag Kings competed in the categories of interview, creative costume, talent, evening wear and on-stage presentation. With stipulations and procedures, anyone presenting male on-stage can compete in the Mr. Max Contest.
